The story surrounded a protagonist named, Subaru Natsuki, an isolated teen, who suddenly finds himself transported to another world on his way home from the convenience store. In this world, he has a special power, Return by Death that can help him reverse time by dying, but only he can remember the events. Then he met a girl and weird stuff happened. He lived and died several times, trying to solve the problem that killed many characters. Blood, dead bodies or body parts being cut are normal throughout this film.
Re:Zero has become one of my favorite films of all time. The characters are well-built. Every person has the characteristics that make them unique and fascinating. The art, how they drew this anime is spectacular, I totally love the coloring part with special effect. The most incredible factor of this film is the plot. It is different from any anime I have watched. New problems are introduced naturally, the characters join forces to fight… Plot twists are everywhere. Even some small details can make me smile or cry for a full episode.
Even though this is a fantasy film, the lessons are related to reality. When I watched some other films, how the characters solved the problem looked effortless, and that makes me feel unrealistic and a bit annoyed. Re:Zero showed me that not everything is easy, like the way that Subaru died several times when trying. I have to work hard; when I fail, I have to continue. Honestly, I would recommend this to everyone but because the film contains some bloody and violent scenes so I highly suggest watching it for people older than 12 years old.
P.S. Good news! RE:ZERO anime adaptation season 2 will premiere in April of 2020.
